It was a fairy tale mash-up in the back yard of the Cherry Valley town hall on Saturday August 9th. A musical performance by Campfire Crew along with face painting by Emily and Stephanie set the mood for bringing back play in a fairy tale way. More than 60 playful participants enjoyed old-fashioned games, crafts, snacks and a special visit with Cinderella and Riding Hood (alias Donna and Carol from the Athol Recreation Committee).

Thank you so much to all the volunteers and organizers. Our family had a wonderful time at your event. The kids keep asking about going back to see Little Red Riding Hood and The Princess. It is so rare to find such a family friendly activity where kids of all ages have something to do and can participate in every activity. We look forward to your next event!!
