Our Clothes Swap in November organized by Shannon with assistance by Bonnie and Susan, was a great success.  So much so that we are planning a children’s clothes swap in the future.

All remaining clothing was donated to Alternatives for Women and other local charities.

SESSION GUIDELINES

Sessions begin with quiet sitting practice, so please arrive early & calmly settle in.  If it is your first Session, please come 15 mins early to complete Intake Form.  Conversation should be kept to a minimum, as this is a time for inward reflection and awareness.  Follow along to the best of your ability, and be gentle with yourself.  Move, stretch & breathe at your own natural pace. No need to always ‘keep up’.  If floor sitting is too daunting, chairs, sofas, and even pews are available.  However, core & spinal strength, hip flexibility, and energetic grounding are to be gained from developing an ability to sit on the floor unaided. So this can be something to work towards. Please bring a stretching mat and sitting cushion. However, if you intend to chair sit, then a cushion is not necessary. A throw blanket may be useful for Sitting Practice during Winter Sessions. Dress comfortably, in non-constrictive clothing, and perhaps layers, including socks. Try not to plan to do too much afterwards. It’s beneficial to maintain the stillness as long as possible.
