Another great Athol Recreation event was had last night by all who hopped on the bus at various stops around the County, to the Black Light, Rock’n Roll Bowl in Belleville. Shannon Hunter, our newest committee member took the lead on this event and organized a full bus of 30 enthusiastic bowlers. Some who had never bowled and some who hadn’t bowled for years were surprised at how well they were doing, right Dan? There were many strikes and spares by all. Even the lowest scorer of the night Jenn Ross walked away with at least one spare to a round of loud applause! There were a few turkeys (3 strikes in a row) and of course the odd gutter ball here and there, right Carrie? Some were concerned that they did not receive enough points for their strikes….right Janet? but nevertheless everyone walked away having a good time!

Prizes were awarded on the bus on the road home.
The highest single game score went to Ray Ford with a whopping 153 and the lowest score going to Jenn Cross with 43.
Many also asked on the way home when we would be doing this again!!!
