Games nights at the Athol Recreation Centre will be returning starting on October 5th and will continue every 1st and 3rd Friday of every month.
October 5th, 19th
November 2, 16th
December 7th and 21st
and so on!
PLEASE NOTE GAMES NIGHT IS AN ADULT ONLY EVENT!
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REFRESHMENTS AND SNACKS!

Welcome to the Valley to both you and your family!
No you do not have to register for the Games Nights just drop in, however I should point out this is an adult only event. Not sure if you were inquiring for yourself or for children. We are trying to get some more childrens events going. Currently we are working on a Hallowe’en event on the 31st of October at the Athol Hall. We have in the past hosted a Strawberry Social in the early Summer and most recently in July a Cherry Jubilee that had a Scavenger hunt component. We are hoping to make this an annual event. We are tryging to get a movie night going over the Winter months. We would appreciate your input on any events you would like. We are a small hardworking committee and are always looking for ways to engage families in the community. We also are open to more volunteers. Our next meeting is going to be October 22nd at the Athol Rec. Centre at 7pm if you are able to attend. It would give you an opporutnity to meet some of your neighbors and here first hand our plans.
