Holiday
Potluck-1024x364

Greetings all!

Tonight in Cherry Valley, the Athol Rec Committee is celebrating the season with a potluck supper. We’re also collecting food for the Regent Theatre food drive.

After supper…Graham Davies is reading A Child’s Christmas in Wales –  spoken like a true Welshman.

The evening will continue with games (scrabble, cards, ping pong and more) along with just hanging out. Plus the screening of A Wonderful Life (yes it is!) on our ‘big screen’.

Dinner is around 6ish. All welcome.
Town Hall in ‘downtown’ Cherry Valley.

Drop in anytime and celebrate the best of the season with us!

Happy Holidays and all the best for the New Year from all the volunteers of the Athol Recreation Committee!

Last Sunday afternoon the Athol Recreation Centre was filled with the sights, smells and textures of the holiday season during local Cherry Valley resident Jutta Naim’s, Sticks and Stones workshop. Beautiful arrangements for the holiday table were created under the inspirational guidance of Jutta.  The workshop was followed by a wonderful potluck luncheon.  Special thank you to Jutta and her group of volunteers  for making the afternoon so special.  All in attendance hope she will be back in the Spring to inspire us  once again.
