MillPond Music is hosting a public information session on tonight,  Wednesday, March 13th in  The Cherry Valley Town Hall at 7pm. The purpose of this public meeting is to share their plans for 2019 for

The 5th Annual Prince Edward County Country Jamboree August 22nd to 25th

and

The 3rd Annual 50’s & 60’s Rock n Roll Music Festival, September 13 to 15th both of which happen in Cherry Valley at 1927 County Rd 10.

The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions or concerns and to work with the Athol Community and the benefits the festivals bring to our community and Prince Edward County. They welcome everyone, both supporters and those with concerns to attend so that we may move forward in a positive and constructive manner.

If you have any concerns, own a business that benefits from the tourist influx that the events offer, support our music festivals and would like to find out more info please join them tonight.

MillPond Music & Entertainment is a County Based Business who has operated The Prince Edward County Country Jamboree in Prince Edward County since 2015 and The 50’s & 60’s Rock N Roll Music Festival since 2017 in Prince Edward County.

No amount of snow could keep these fashion-lovers from Paris Fashion week at the Athol Town Hall last night in Cherry Valley.  These gals and little boys strutted their swapped items on the catwalk.  As you can tell, stripes and polka dots are the new rage for the season!!!  And red is back in a big way!

Athol Recreation Committee presents, Kashka in Concert.

Wonderful evening of music last Friday night at the town hall in Cherry Valley. Thank you Kashka and Kate Du Temple for the beautiful music, Vanessa Bee Rieger for the mesmerizing images and Emerson Pringle our sound Engineer.
Kudos to the Lead Organizer Ramesh Pooran, and helpers Susan Wallis, Glen Wallis and Candace Wilkins.

After a couple of hours of play and a wonderful potluck lunch we are happy to announce the 2019 Scrabble Champ………..drum roll………….the winner is Carson Arthur!

Left to right. Ramesh, Glen, Carson (Scrabble Winner), Suzanne and Angela.

Carson had a combined score of 450 points after 2 games.

Followed closely by Ramesh at 420, Suzanne (last year’s winner) at 387 and then Angela at 342 points.

All in all, it was a FUN way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Cherry Valley.

Remember we run once a month Sunday afternoon drop-ins until June.  The dates are March 24, April 21st,  May 19th and June 16th .   1 -4 pm.  The event is free. Snacks and drinks provided.  Prize for highest score.
