After 2 rousing games of Scrabble and a lovely potluck lunch the winner of the 10th annual Scrabble Tournament for 2024 is…….Chris Brown with 517 points. He came about this win with a 1st game score of 252 and a 2nd game score of 265.
In second place we had returning champion Angela Adams with 179 in her 1st game and 300 in her 2nd game equalling a total score of 479. It should be noted that Angela had the highest single word score of 85 points for the word ‘vanities’ and the highest single game score of 300.
Returning player Sarah Vader was close behind in 3rd place with a score of 445. 1st game at 214 and 2nd game 231 points.
