99.3 CountyFM is presenting a series of 15 events at locations across the County to help educate and fight fraud that targets those who are vulnerable in our community.

The events are taking place in community spaces and other accessible meeting areas, including town halls, across the County.  These events will provide a chance for attendees to witness scenarios that are happening around us and to learn how you can reduce the chance that you are a victim of fraud.

Join 99.3 County FM and partners at Athol Town Hall, November 15th  2:00 pm

Free refreshments and snacks will be provided. Transportation is available upon request – simply contact the radio station at 613-476-2229.

Breakfast with Santa

Athol Rec Committee is excited to invite you to Breakfast with Santa!

Join us for a delicious breakfast of pancakes and sausages, with real maple syrup from Guernsey Farms. Take a moment to visit with Santa, snap a photo for memories, and each child will receive a gift from County Kids Read. This event is free to the public, but donations are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Last night was another fun night in Cherry Valley as euchre loving residents from across the county gathered for the Athol Rec Committee’s Euchre Tournament.

Participants enjoyed the “progressive” format, pot luck snacks and friendly conversation.

Congratulations to our crowned winners:

  • Euchre Champion: Paul
  • Most “Going Alone”: Andrea
  • Perseverance: Emily
