Local Cherry Valley artist Wellington Lambert hosted a one day show this past Saturday  December 10th at the Athol Recreation Centre.  Lambert has developed a unique painting technique using venetian plaster.   Lambert works with archival photographs as his passion is capturing and celebrating moments from history.  His work includes architecture, landscapes, hockey and skating scenes as it’s subject manner.  Lambert shows his work throughout Ontario specifically in  Toronto, Kingston and Ottawa.    Lambert also displayed some wonderful small skating scenes perfect for gift-giving.  To see more of Lambert’s work or to contact him directly go to
